My son, my dear young buck, we are not of Gan and Shambler. We are of Flint and Fay. That is your story, son.

Gan is a presumed parent of an unknown species, along with their spouse, Shambler.

The Black Star of Kingston

Gan is mentioned by King Whitson Mariner, when he sternly tells his son, Lander, that rabbits are not of Gan and Shambler but of Flint and Fay. This statement possibly alludes to the fact that Gan and Shambler were somewhat undesirable characters, whatever their species may have been.

  • The name "Gan" is of Mongolian origin and means "steel."[1]
