Caldwell is an elderly buck and war veteran who patronized the Savory Den some time after the Battle for Cloud Mountain.

Biography

The First Fowler

A retired soldier, Caldwell was in line for food some time after Jo Shanks was released from medical observation by Emma. Jo graciously offered to get the buck's food for him, addressing him as "uncle" and helping him to a nearby table to sit down.

Personality and traits

Caldwell is an aged rabbit who breathes heavily and must use a cane to support himself when he walks. Despite these difficulties and apparent battle experiences, Caldwell remains courteous and capable of gratitude, evidenced by his thanking Jo for his offer of help. Caldwell also maintains a sense of humor, willingly joking about himself and to others. He is also sociable, willingly talking to Jo and allowing himself to be led to a table of rabbits whom he expressed no sign of being acquainted with.
