@J.S. Clingman @Pinkpeony73 Wanted to get your input on a matter. I was just looking into nominating next month’s featured content, and came across something troubling. In order to nominate an article to be featured, it has to be considered a “good article” and be in the category for such. However, out of 520 pages currently existing on the wiki, only 60 are currently listed in that category.
Now, admittedly there are 87 articles that are currently in the stub category and thus might not be considered “good” articles, though some of them have been featured regardless. Sadly this includes quite a few major characters and concepts. However, by my reckoning that still leaves nearly 400 articles that aren’t in either category. It seems to me, therefore, that some categorization-or recategorization-is in order.
The good articles category is something that predates my joining the wiki, and I’ve always deferred to you two on it. I think that we need to do one of a few things. The two of you, as admins, could look through our various articles and determine which, if any, meet the “good” criteria but haven’t been marked as such. And/or if you want to lay out the criteria for me so I know exactly what the qualifications are, I can see about doing the same. I figure we should either do that or do away with the “good” category if it’s not something we’re going to try and apply consistently across the wiki.
Appreciation in advance for your consideration.
