So in something that hasn't happened too often-at least not in my experience-we have two nominees for Featured Article for next month. One user has nominated Fleck Blackstar, while another has nominated the secret citadels article. Rather than try and settle matters with a poll-because honestly I'm not sure myself which one I'd prefer to see featured first-I thought I'd open it up to discussion among the users. Bear in mind, I figure that whichever page doesn't get picked for August could be kept on the nominations page for September.
So, what do you y'all think? Should we feature the OG citadel lord, or the concept of the secret citadels, for the month of August?
So, I know that we've got a Mended Wood and Natalia is basically heaven for the (surviving) rabbits. But what about, say, Golden Coast? The rabbits might need to settle other places eventually, because there's no death. Since the rabbits are now basically invincible due to True Blue, could they just go fight off what's presumably wolves and claim Golden Coast for the Mending too? Maybe settle it themselves, since there's probably no surviving rabbits? Or has Golden Coast somehow been Mended too? Just, like, magically?
Also, Smalls is king. But for how long? Will he be king forever, or will it pass to one of his kids? How would that work?
I look forward to hearing your theories.

I will be on a trip from June 17-24 with little to no Internet access. Not that I expect much to happen here in that time or that my absence will be much different from what my being present has been for some time now, but I figured I’d let folks know.
Did the books ever mention if Bleston and Jupiter had more siblings? if so, did it mention their names? thank you
Hey everybody! In another measure intended to help make our wiki a bit more visible/accessible, I have created a Facebook page for the site. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100092051367462
If you use Facebook, feel free to drop by and give us a like/follow. If not, that's perfectly okay.
@Pinkpeony73 @J.S. Clingman @ProfessorLayton15 and anyone else who’d like to contribute an opinion.
The Green Ember community, or at least our little chunks of it, is in a bit of a slump. We’ve never been the largest fan base, but at the moment we feel particularly few and not especially active. Doubtless this is in part due to being in a bit of a content hole. It’s been a while since the latest book came out, and there’s no telling when the next new piece of Green Ember media might be announced, never mind released.
It is also possible, and indeed my hope, that there are more of us out there then it seems. Whether long-standing fans or people who would be fans if they knew about us, it is my hope that we can link up with them. This will be a benefit to the wiki, to the Story Warren Discord, to New Seddleton, and perhaps even to some other fan sites of which we are not currently aware. To that end, I intend to implement some strategies that will hopefully make us a bit more visible.
The first of these is the proposal that we apply to Fandom for them to feature The Green Ember Wiki in a community spotlight. The admins have discussed this possibility before, but now at last the wiki is perhaps in a shape to move forward with it. Though we have recently agreed to begin reformatting biographical and historical sections on all our articles, I feel that this process need not be completed before requesting a spotlight. I feel that the wiki currently meets the necessary qualifications, which can be found at the link below.
My question, then, is this: should I proceed with the request?

Praise the One who broke the Starsword, the Stone Table, the chains of death! The debt is paid! Χριστος ανεστι! Αλιθος ανεστι!
Hello, everyone! Recently, a lot of wikis have been converting their article format to be more realistic. This means updating articles to appear more historic/biographical—like how Wikipedia formats their articles.
If we were to implement this format, we would cite all information using reference tags. For example, rather than grouping everything we know about Picket under an "Ember Falls" header, we would cite all the information we have about Picket in Ember Falls with a citation referencing Ember Falls, showing that that book is where we got that specific information. The main pro of using this format is that it allows us to format information chronologically rather than be limited by media. (To be clear, we would still use headers, but they would say things like "early life," "invasion of Cloud Mountain," etc. instead of listing the books.) The Simba article on The Lion King Wiki is a great example of how this formatting can be done well.
Thoughts?
Hey guys, just a reminder that we should avoid uploading .webp files if at all possible. .png is the most preferable file type, with .jpg being the next most acceptable type. There are plenty of file converters online to assist with this. Thanks.
So in Ember Falls, at the council that Smalls holds at the beginning of the book, he introduces the Blackstar twins to the Longtreader siblings. Smalls says: "...Colden and Heyna Blackstar, old friends of mine from our years of rambling exile. We have had some adventures over the years..." (doing this off of memory, might be a word or two off) S. D. Smith should write a book about the adventures that Smalls had with the Blackstar twins during the afterterrors. What do you think?
We know from The Black Star of Kingston that Massie is an archer. Also, an illustration of Massie in The Black Star of Kingston shows that his fur is not white. In Ember's End, on page 245, the description of the Pilgrim says that he is "an old buck of mixed brown and silver fur." Also, everything about the Pilgrim seems ancient, from his clothing to his arrows and his quiver. Some other facts: we know that Massie was an expert archer, and the Pilgrim is also an incredible archer. On page 313 of Ember's End, when Nate Flynn asks the Pilgrim who he is, he replies "Just an old archer."
When the Pilgrim meets Helmer for the first time, Helmer asks him, "Have we met before, my lord?" to which the Pilgrim replies: "I'm no lord, Helmer there. And we haven't ever met. But you remind me of an old friend." I think that this is the Pilgrim (who is Massie) remembering how King Whitson called Brindle Cove "Helmer, there!" Any thoughts/contributions?
Hey everyone! I recently updated the colors of our Dark Theme. Thoughts? Likes? Dislikes?
So, I know that Lord Captain is a higher rank than Captain. It seems to be a higher honor than Lord, but can, for instance, Lord Captain Helmer tell Lord Victor Blackstar what to do? Lord Rake seemed to have power over Helmer in TGE, but maybe this was just a) Helmer's in his self-destructive phase and does not act like he has the Lord Captain rank because he feels he doesn't deserve it, b) Lord Rake is the leader of the place where Helmer is and so could kick him out or something but any other place Helmer would be superior, or c) This is just a buck-to-buck talk between two old friends of King Jupiter. It could be that Lord Captains are superior in little things, or maybe military stuff, but couldn't, for example, overthrow a citadel lord or something like that. Thoughts?
Hi Emberians (or whatever we are)! I am happy to announce that there are NO MORE STUBS! Thank you all for your work.
Some articles that I did that I'm not sure about:
If you'd like to look those over and make sure you're satisfied, I'd appreciate that.
